Resolution Ranch Helps Troubled Teenage Boys
Resolution Ranch Academy’s troubled youth home for boys helps them stop harmful behavior and discover their true selves.
Founded in 2004 by former NFL player Scott McGarrahan, Resolution Ranch Academy’s therapeutic boarding school and troubled youth home helps teens struggling with behavioral issues — such as depression, rebellion, and ADHD. Teen boys get back on track toward a brighter future. For an average of six to nine months, boys age 13 to 17 live on our beautiful boys ranch campus in Central Texas.
Our positive, nurturing atmosphere focuses on guiding personal growth through responsibility, gratitude, and open communication based on our valuable R.A.N.C.H. therapy system, Recovery, and Academics through Nature, Counseling, and Healing, which includes behavioral therapy.
Located on a rustic ranch and lake about 70 miles northeast of Austin, Texas, we dedicate the work of our ranch team toward inspiring growth and gratitude through imparting family values, personal responsibility, and academic support. Our therapeutic program offers a nurturing environment where teenage boys will find unconditional care and guidance.
The active lifestyle at Resolution Ranch includes playing sports (football/soccer/basketball), physical training at our Strength and Conditioning center, experiencing nature at our on-site lake and wooded trails, plus joining arts and crafts sessions. These activities are coupled with therapy designed to help students reconnect positively and respectfully with the world and its people.

We enroll boys and instill their responsibility for themselves and helping someone else; he learns the value of humility, gratitude, and compassion.
